Accelerating With AI Tools
Standard 8: Impact of Scholarship requires faculty research to deliver a positive societal impact. Traditional research assessments use quantitative citation metrics that do not capture relevance in terms of impacts on business, society, and the environment. ChatSDG is a GenAI tool that provides a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of research impact in terms of sustainable development and real-world business practice. ChatSDG measures alignment with the United Nations 17 SDGs—a recommended set of measurements in Standard 9: Engagement and Societal Impact. This session demonstrates how ChatSDG can assist with Standard 8 data collection, analysis, and reporting for CIRs.

This session will take the audience through a step-by-step example of using ChatGPT4 enterprise version to produce accreditation reporting. Specifically, we will look at computing coverage, listing all PRJ publication outlets per department, discipline or faculty member, and summarizing faculty activity in support of the school's mission. The session will also cover: the data and documents needed prior to starting work with ChatGPT, the importance of data completeness and clean-up, pitfalls of ChatGPT hallucination and the importance of verifying answers, and specific prompt rewording to obtain the needed output.

Designing One AoL Process to Meet Multiple Accreditor’s Standards
Participants will explore how to develop an efficient assessment process to satisfy the requirements of multiple accreditors. Participants will utilize a typology that captures key AOL process dimensions to identify commonality across their accreditors and determine how to efficiently design an AOL process to address common dimensions. Participants will also identify requirements unique to specific accreditors and determine how to best address these in their assessment process. Lastly, participants will consider the utility of shared measures (e.g., rubrics) across multiple programs at the same level (e.g., undergraduate programs) as a means to gain efficiency in the AOL process.
